Bloom

Last weekend we set of to Michigan to meet Kelle Hampton, an author and Mommy Blogger that I have been following for the past two years.  Both her Blog and her book are inspiring and I was SO excited to finally meet her after following her through her Blog, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for so long.

Waiting in line with Gammy

Team Nella!

Kelle took this pic!

Here she is!

She was so sweet (as was her husband Brett and father) who we were able to talk with both before and after the book signing.  We even got to introduce Kiptyn to their youngest daughter sweet little Nella.  The eldest Lainey was there as well but she was a little on the shy side so only my Dad was able to get close enough to talk with her while she held her Poppa's little puppy Ginger.

The book signing took place at a garden nursery and it was the biggest and most beautiful one I had ever been to.  I wish we had been able to take plants and flowers back over the border with us.  What a beautiful place for a meet and greet!

Shoulder rides with Grandpa

This week we also had a coffee date with Kippy's friends and his girlfriend Lily.  Lily is such a dainty little thing and just sits quiety and watches what goes on around her.  Kippy on the other hand is loud and CrAzY and always on the move.  I guess opposites attract...he he he

When we got home, he turned off his manly charm and turned back into total BOY.

This baby doesn't sit still!

We got the other photos from our family photo shoot recently.  I love this one of the three of us.  It feels so cozy.

Now that our little monster can stand up in bed, we are having a hard time getting him to lay back down!
Sometimes he just needs a good cuddle to get him to sleep.

Now off to a BBQ to start this beautiful Father's Day weekend!

  1. So great. Fun to read about the book signing. I would have 100% been there too- if only I wasn't in Vancouver right now :( The photos are great. Sounds and looks like you had a great time
