Almost Summer!

Getting closer!  I just LOVE my big old belly right now.  Bug moves around SO much and I can't stop just staring at it all day long!

My in-laws threw me a wonderful shower for the baby.  We had a lovely brunch and the house was all decorated.  Although the weather wasn't perfect, it turned out to be a beautiful day of celebration!  Thank you to EVERYONE who attended!

Dave was HILARIOUS at our first Prenatal class.  He was the only male volunteer to put on the belly!  Of course he was all about cracking jokes and I think everyone wished their husband was as cute as him!

On Father's Day we all gathered at Chris & Jen's house for a BBQ and pool party.  It was so nice to have my sister down to join us!

School is ALMOST over and I can hardly wait.  Things are getting very busy but I know they will only get busier from here!  Enjoy the weather this weekend....the rain is supposed to come to an end!

I'm back!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately!  I have been really busy but finally had a chance to sit down at the computer and go through some of the recent photos to create a decent update.

The Dance Show was a huge success and I was so proud of my girls.  I will really miss that part of teaching next year but I have a feeling I will be in the school helping out more than I think.  These are some of the flowers that the girls got me as a thank-you.  Dave also got me a dozen red roses and the sweetest card.  :)

I was SO proud of those girls!  Here are just a couple of the pics from the show!

It has been HOT HOT HOT outside!  I love the heat but with the air conditioning broken in my classroom these past few weeks have been very long.  I have been sneaking a lot of Iced Caps from Timmy's to keep cool!  Speaking of Timmy's, I have an ex-student (I taught her about 5 years ago) who always serves me through the drive-through in the morning and calls me "doll" each time she hands over that icy drink!  It feels funny that a student I once taught calls me "doll" but kinda cute and it just makes my day.  Funny story: I also taught the Starbucks girl in the same class 5 years ago...lol.

Faith's 6th birthday was last weekend....it was so hot outside!  Loving the weather!

The nursery has been really coming along as of lately!  John/Dad added a shelf around the top of the room, I added a couple of decorations and our furniture FINALLY came in!  Phew!

I know some of the alphabet letters are upside-down....but they have not yet been attached to the wall.  It was the only way to place them without them falling over...

Dave has been working his butt off in the back yard.  It looks AMAZING.  The gardens are really coming along and the lawn is healthy and green.  Next step: the shed!

The second 3D ultrasound was a lot of fun.  The parents came once again along for the ride and although he was moving a lot more he was facing toward the back quite a bit so we only got profile pictures this time.  I cannot believe how much he had grown in only a few weeks!

He's so cute!

Look at his tiny arms and legs....so flexible!

I signed up for a course in photography called Mama-Razzi which is a crash course on how to take better pictures of your children.  Since I am running out of time to take a full course I hope this course will teach me the basics so that I can use my camera properly and catch those memories.

Some of my cravings these days: watermelon, watermelon, watermelon!  Also, Iced Caps, freezies, and fruit loops!  I have never liked cereal but for some reason fruit loops have been seen in my bowl quite often!  Here is a little visitor we have had the past couple of days....a baby Robin!  Too cute!

My friend Chrissy threw me a work shower today when school was out.  It was so nice to catch up with the girls and I am so grateful to work with such caring and supportive ladies.  Once again...a part of the job I will really miss over the next 14 months.

Well, more to come!
Thanks for reading!
