Mother's Day

It was a wonderful first Mother's Day for me. I woke up in the morning and came down to this....

It didn't last long though....he was up in no time!

And then he helped me unwrap my gifts!

I was surrounded by my family and of course my little Kipper Bug.  We had a Mother's Day lunch on Saturday with the WHOLE family but somehow I didn't take many pictures!  On Sunday, we went to my Mom's house for dinner.  Kippy made an entrance in his little bike.  Card in hand and flowers in the back....cuz that's the way he rolls.

It was so nice to see Uncle Dean and Uncle Ben!

My Dad enjoyed showing Kiptyn some affection....

and showing him his tongue!

3 Generations...

I love this little "moment" my Mom is having with Kippy.

Squish!

BIGGER Squish!

He loved snuggling up with "Gammy".

Kiptyn and I had some fun on the lawn.

I adore this face.

 And so does his Daddy.

I'm just so lucky and so grateful to this tiny man who made me a MAMA!

Life in the Fast Lane

Wow have we ever been busy!

The Mother's Day post is on its way but in the meantime....life has been going on as usual in the Welbourn home.  This is our Mothers Day photo for Judy, that Cynthia Bendle (who did Kippy's newborn photos and a FANTASTIC photographer) took for us.  Chris and Dave carried that couch/boat to the middle of the Fanshawe Pioneer Village forest.

After the shoot was over we took our little man back into the forest for a little photo shoot of our own.

The weather has been beautiful and it allowed Kiptyn to try out his new bike!  It is almost a nightly ritual now to go for a bike/walk around the neighbourhood while Kippy chats away to himself in his new wheels.

Grandma came over with her new ride as well one night!

The back yard is a perfect place to eat wet, drippy melon, without pants, from his little nibbler net.  Boy did he enjoy that!

He's on the go and loves to explore.

Those long lashes get me every time!

Mid-sneeze!

Ha ha ha!

So, we haven't yet thrown away the hay barrel that resides on our front porch for a year and a half.  At this point, we may as well wait for Fall and use it for our display once again right?  Besides, it creates a fun backdrop for Farmer Boy.

Lots to do today preparing for Kiptyn's Baptism tomorrow!  I'll be back on Monday!
