2012

 Although we had a very Happy New Year, 2012 started off a little rough in the Welbourn household.

My poor baby has been so sick since New Years Eve!  Well it happened at 2:15am just after we rang in 2012 at a neighbour's house.  Kiptyn was sleeping peacefully since 6:30pm for his grandparents and didn't make a noise until we got home.  Almost a week later and we are seeing some small improvements but Kiptyn is still not himself.  These pictures were all taken between Christmas and New Years Eve and this week I haven't take a single photo!  Little Bug is a mess!  We knew something was not right as he started getting a little more cranky and sleeping a bit more in the daytime leading up to New Year Eve, but we just thought he was recovering from Christmas.  There is nothing worse than seeing your little baby so sick and in so much pain.

He even fell asleep in his Jumperoo.....now that is something Kiptyn would never do!

Here's to hoping he is on the mend and that we can all get some sleep and get our smiley, happy, HEALTHY baby back.  I miss his sweet smiles. This is a picture of our little Bug on his very own BUG!

 So here we go...the "End of December" post.....

We attempted the "sippy cup"on multiple occasions once again after Christmas.  He loved to hold it and bite on the spout but once any liquid came out it was game over.  One night he didn't resist quite as much but then we decided it was time for some sleep training so we left the bottle/sippy cup practice for a while.

We also worked on the Bumbo and tummy time a bit more.  This little man only has a few weeks until we start some food!

Kiptyn is getting so strong.  One night he was standing up with just one hand of help from Grandma!

This was before he got sick however....his little rolls are not as rolly polly now. :(

Even though Kiptyn slept through the famous Ball Drop on New Years Eve, we had a little celebration with him before we went out, and of course shortly after midnight I came home to give him his first kiss of 2012 while he slept in his crib.

Here are the girls at the party! The pictures came out very blurry and although we took about 40 of them, these are the only two that you could actually make out who each of us were.  Sorry girls, we will have to do another photo session soon and maybe pick a different photographer (Dave may have been a little carried away with the camera settings...lol).

I LOVE that our parents get along so well.  Even if they do tease each other constantly.

 Okay that is all for now, I hope that our little one gets better soon so we can make up for the start of the New Year and start living life in 2012!
