Fall is in the Air!

Wow!  Did the weather ever change fast!

Last weekend we were at a pool party and this week it has really cooled off.  The farmers have some pumpkins for sale, everyone has dug out their sweaters, and those darn Mums are being sold at the front of every store.  I am not quite ready for fall to come yet.  I never really am.  This summer I was uber (is that even a word?) pregnant in July, and August was spent caring for Little Man.  I feel like it passed by so quickly.  I am hoping summer makes a brief return if only for a few days so that we can get out there once again and feel the warm sweet air while taking it all in before it goes away for good.

Here is the Little Bug enjoying the warm weather and the outdoors!

Kiptyn has found his favourite new spot.  Up on the shoulder.  Anyone's shoulder, he is not picky (although he really likes Daddy's).  He loves to look around and see everything from up there and the best part is when you feel his head turn and lay itself down as he falls into a deep sleep.  Baby cuddles....the best thing ever.

I love how much other people love our baby.  Of course the Grandparents are over the moon and it makes me so happy that Dave and I both come from such loving families.  Our friends also love him.  I get texts and phone calls from people checking up on him and when we go out there is always a few sets of open arms ready to sneak a cuddle or two.

Kiptyn has also been practising his dancing.  We often have dance parties in the middle of the night (his favourites are the Rockabye Baby collection- Madonna in particular- you have to check it out!  All Rock songs turned into sweet lullabies).

Here he is trying out some cool moves at a friend's house just after feeding...Go Kiptyn Go!

Boogie on down!

Disco!

Our little Bug  is also very unpredictable.  One day he is awake and alert and taking everything in, the next he sleeps through everything.  I guess that is the life of a baby!

Here he is looking at the birdies above his vibrating chair.

Last weekend we went to our annual family corn roast and celebrated our Aunt and Uncle's 40th Anniversary.  It was so nice to introduce Kiptyn to the rest of the family.  Big families are the best.  There is always so much to catch up on.  Kiptyn also met his new little cousin Layton.  They are going to be the best of friends!

"Hi!  My name is Kiptyn, will you be my friend?"

Dave has gone back to work this week.  It feels strange to be by myself all day with Kiptyn.  It also feels very strange not having to work.  I drive by the school and watch kids going in and out knowing that I don't have to...I think I could get used to this. Daddy misses his Little Man.  At night they often have some extra cuddles these days.  On the first day of school Kiptyn wore his "Smart Like Dad" outfit and we sang our ABC's.

Here is Kiptyn enjoying a book with Daddy after his bath.  Notice the book Dave is reading...don't be alarmed, this one will be stored away for the next 20 years as soon as he is able to fully understand it.  Lol.

A Family Photo!

Kiptyn LOVES his soother, sometimes when it falls out he sucks so hard that he can get it to pop back in without our help!

MILK COMA!
That's all for now!  We will be back again soon!
